Customs Rules:
The actual title, plus 5 copies of the title (front and back) and 6 copies of the dock receipt must be delivered with the vehicle being shipped. If the original title is being left with us, we provide a messenger service free of charge for the stamping of your title. The title will be returned to the Broker/Forwarder with the bills of lading after the unit has loaded.
If the original title is not being left with us, you will be responsible for taking it to U.S. Customs after the vehicle has been delivered to the terminal. The Customs office is located at 1210 Corbin St. in Elizabeth N.J. - 3rd floor. You must then provide us with a stamped copy of the title, and after the 72 hour waiting period the unit will be cleared for export.
